Wheatear-Week 13 of ’52 Weeks of Watercolour Birds’ #52WeeksOfWatercolourBirds #Watercolor #ArtJournaling

The Week 13 prompt for the ’52 Weeks of Watercolour Birds’ challenge was the Wheatear.

This was another quickie for me – about 20 minutes to do.  I’m getting a little lazy.  The paints in my pan sets are not as good as my tube paints, but they are all set up and ready to go.  I don’t have to look for the right colors and spread them out, and then wonder what to do with any left over.  It’s probably a poor reflection of my taste, but I like pan sets!

This bird was painted using my LUKAS Watercolor Studio Set of 16 Half Pans set in the Global Art Materials Field Watercolor Artist Journal Hand Book, 7 by 10-Inch that I’m using for the ’52 Weeks of Watercolour Birds’.
